I tried putting them all in the community folder and that does seem to have worked as i am in game now with the regular cessna 172. In particular, FSX Deluxe adds the Garmin G1000 avionics to the Cessna 172, Beechcraft Baron 58 twin, and to the Mooney M20M Bravo.
Update 2: well that actually didn't work - i thought it was going to because the planes all showed up in the sim for a minute but then they disappeared. The Deluxe Edition features 24 aircraft compared to 18 in the Standard Edition 45 high-detail airports compared to 40 38 high-detail cities compared to 28 and 51 structured missions compared to more than 30. so instead of "packages\community" you place them in the packages\official\onestore (at least if you have the marketplace version). This Deluxe Edition includes more high-detail airports and cities (and more aircraft) than the Standard Edition. I have FS2002, and yes, I plan to upgrade to FS2004, but the same basic steps apply to FS2004, FS2002, CFS, and I think FSX.
Update: so i figured out how to do it my friend - you don't put the planes into the community folder because they aren't add on planes, right? you put them in the official folder. FSX Gold is a compilation package including both FSX Deluxe and FSX Acceleration. I bought Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on the microsoft store.
